PU 423|422|421 (Globe) and 500|422|421 (Globe+): Updates to Intrastat 2022 (Irish legislation)

There are some changes in the XML schema for the Intrastat return from year 2022 onwards. The changes are only applicable for “Dispatch”.

The following XML attribute has been updated:

• ctryOrigin – If the statistical number is not “99500000”, this attribute will contain Country of origin. However, if the country of origin is blank, the system will get the country code from the company data settings. If the statistical number is “99500000”, this attribute will not be displayed.

The following XML attributes are new:

• notVATRegistered – If the VAT number of the debtor is blank, this attribute will contain the value “True”, and if the VAT number of the debtor is not blank, this attribute will contain the value “False”.
• purchaserVat – If the VAT number of the debtor is not blank and starts with a non-numeric value, this attribute will contain the VAT number of the debtor. However, if the VAT number of the debtor is not blank and starts with a numeric value, this attribute will contain the country and VAT number of the debtor. If the VAT number of the debtor is blank, this attribute will not be displayed.
